Well, that is a good question indeed. So the answer is, plain and simple,
Loser is anti-Winner.
I know, it all makes sense now, right? Except for one minor detail - what the Hell do you mean by a Winner? Someone who wins a scratch off Lotto? No.
Look around - everyone wants to look or act according to a certain way.
Everyone cares about what everyone else thinks about them. Have you ever
gotten up and just wanted to go out, nowhere important maybe just to the
grocery store, wearing your pajamas and sandals? Why don't you? Because
you are afraid that other people will stare at you. The whole ethic
of Loser is that:
IT DOESN'T REALLY MATTER WHAT OTHERS THINK.
Now don't take this the wrong way, it's not that we won't listen to you. We never make judgements about other people's decisions. If you think we look like idiots, tell us we look like idiots. We won't care, because chances are most of the time we will think that you look like an idiot. The point is, it doesn't matter. Each one of us should be free to do and say and feel what we want, of course, always within the parameters that your actions bring no harm to others.
A Winner is someone who seldom does things that he or she wants to, and only does what's "cool" or "trendy" or what "the other kids are doing." For example, if everyone else listens to this cool new album, the Winner will go out and purchase said album, regardless of whether or not they like the music, just so they can be accepted. In this case, the matter at hand is not to banish anything that is "trendy," just because of its status of fame. The idea is, you should only listen to it if you like it. This applies to everything. If you like wearing orange clam diggers, wear them. If you like eating dog biscuits, eat them. However, don't take this pattern the wrong way. If you like putting children in blenders, well, that's too bad for you. Once again, there is an ethical line that each person must draw, and I am not drawing it for you. Common moral sense is something that must be explored individually. Use your own judgment there.
The whole point of this page is to make people think. Remember, every single action that you take, could affect others in some way. I'm not telling you to never do anything again, nor to move to central Greenland. All I am saying is that you should think about each thing you do. Everyone has a brain. Not everyone uses it. Now, I'm not accusing anyone in particular, all I am saying is to remember that fact. It will come in handy next time you see someone do something really stupid. Remember, every time you say to yourself, "boy, that kid sure is an idiot", there is probably someone else looking at you and thinking the same thing. Remember, everyone is different. Everyone thinks differently. The goal is NOT to condemn those that think differently from you. Do not try and change the way you want to think just because you fear being condemned for it. In a nutshell, be
